Thank you to those of you attended our general membership meeting.
There were some changes voted on and these are the results.
The membership fee will increase to $35.00 if paid by Mar. 1 $40.00 if after.
We will add a $10.00 per entry awards fund instead of the $50.00 raffle tickets. We will continue to have raffles at each rodeo and the contestants can help sell them that day. This will go to the awards fund.
We also decided to have a non-member entry again. The non-member will receive payout if they place. The points will just be voided. The cost will be $10.00 plus all of the other fees. Same rules apply if they want to be in finals they have to become a member and compete in 2 previous rodeos to qualify.
Rookie will only be awarded to a first year member Boy and Girl. Not in each age group.
Ribbon roping there will be no draw. Boys can rope 2 times. Girls can only enter 1 time as a runner. You are responsible to get your partner. Wrangler rules will apply the girl can touch the calf before the roper gets to it but NOT the ribbon. She can not remove the ribbon before the roper gets to the calf.
Mini Mite pole bending has been replaced with the figure 8 race. Girls can enter up to pee wee’s to run poles if they want to.
There will be no queen contest this year.
Membership dues are due March 1st, 2010 total dues are $35.00 .After Mar. 15th $5:00 late fee will be added.
